A college education is a huge investment of time, money and effort. Before you take this leap, take the time to define your goals in terms of education and career. The most common way students pay for college is with federal financial aid. Federal financial aid includes grants, work-study and federal student loans. It is to your advantage if both you and your parents understand the financial aid process.
